A Snapshot of Your Day

This six-month internship has been created to provide operational support to the Planning & Reporting team within the Digital Functions organization. The primary business driver is to alleviate the workload of the existing team by handling the recurring tasks of running and maintaining multiple Power BI reports on a monthly basis. To address this, the role will focus on two core areas: the consistent execution and maintenance of existing reporting cycles, and supporting the implementation of basic changes and enhancements based on new business requirements. This structure ensures that critical reporting functions are maintained while also providing capacity for the team to address more complex, incoming demands. Given the focus on these operational and developmental support tasks, the ideal candidate will be a student with foundational knowledge of Power BI and data concepts. Key requirements include strong attention to detail, a proactive learning attitude, and an interest in applying technical skills within a corporate finance and controlling environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

60% Power BI Report Execution and Maintenance

Execute the monthly refresh and distribution for multiple Power BI reports according to the established schedule.

Monitor data refresh processes, identify and troubleshoot basic failures to ensure report accuracy and availability.

Perform routine data validation and quality checks to maintain the integrity of financial and operational data presented in reports.

Maintain and update documentation for report execution procedures and schedules.

40% Reporting Enhancement and Support

Assist in gathering and documenting minor change requests for existing Power BI reports from stakeholders.

Implement basic modifications to reports, such as adjusting visuals, updating filters, or creating simple DAX measures under supervision.

Support senior team members in testing and deploying report updates and enhancements.

Provide support to end-users on basic report navigation and functionality questions.

Overall responsible for the setup and operations of the S4E Integration Test Cycle (ITC) in SE's largest business transformation program.

What you bring

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Academic or personal project experience with Power BI is highly advantageous.

Foundational knowledge of Power BI and data concepts.

Strong understanding of data visualization principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

Strong analytical and data analysis skills.

Understanding of reporting concepts and data validation processes.

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Strong eagerness to learn and proactive mindset.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Good time management and communication skills.
